The holiday is not new, it appeared in 1994. 

As part of the sanitary and ecological two-month period, an urban "Eco-run" was held in Naberezhnye Chelny. The event was attended by 195 people. Schoolchildren and students of the city jointly cleared about 3 hectares of territory.

On April 26, a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of the international scientific conference of students, postgraduates and young scientists "Lomonosov-2024" was held in Moscow.

The youth environmental forum "ECO-DAY" was held in Almetyevsk. More than 100 people took part in the event. These are activists of the youth movement "It will be Clean", volunteers and schoolchildren of grades 7-11.

As part of the "March of Parks – 2024" campaign, an ecological tram, decorated with children's drawings and posters, passed through Naberezhnye Chelny.

Inspectors of the Northern Directorate held an eco-lesson on the importance of caring for the outside world. They told what needs to be done to keep the planet clean, introduced the kids to important eco-habits and amazing facts about nature.

As part of our eco-marathon, schoolchildren from the Menzelinsky, Aktanyshsky and Buinsky districts of Tatarstan made trench candles for the participants of their own. Such a candle burns for about 8 hours, giving light and warmth.

With the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, the 27th game on urban orientation and local history was held in the Republic of Tatarstan.

A charity eco-fair was held in the village of Usady. Parents and children offered environmentally friendly goods and products grown in the garden.
