The whole family on ecological and educational quests!
With the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society, the 27th game on urban orientation and local history was held in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The goal of the game remains the same - to stimulate interest in the history of the city and its unique places, parks, squares, landmarks. But the theme of the game was dedicated to the "Year of the Family", which was announced in Russia by decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
About 300 people took part in the game, who, as part of 90 teams throughout Kazan, were looking for answers to the questions posed by the game. Let us recall that schoolchildren, students, parents, teachers, and educators can take part in the game. The teams consist of up to 4 people. Participants need to take the largest number of checkpoints. To do this, they need to reach the place described in the legend of the checkpoint and fix it in the itinerary. After completing the route, the answers are recorded in the Google form, the time of sending the answers is considered the finish time of the team.
The game is played in two categories:
Dervish is the most popular category. The route does not require physical training and its main idea is educational;
Kangaroos are a family category for participants under the age of 14 and their parents. The team consists of 2-4 people, one of them must be at least 13 years old, the other must be at least 18 years old.
The use of public transport is prohibited in any category. Each participant is given a certificate of participation and a commemorative badge!
The winners will be awarded on April 25
