The traditional ECO-leader competition has been held since 2004. Its main goal is to draw attention to environmental issues and environmental protection. This year, competition received 326 applications. Most of all applications – in the nomination "Environmental education in preschool educational organizations" – 66 kindergartens took part in the competition this year.


 

The diploma of the winner of the All-Russian campaign "Water of Russia" was presented today by the adviser to the head of the Federal Agency of Water Resources Ilya Razbash to the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov during the ECO-leader ceremony.

The most environmentally friendly enterprise, social movement, media, educational institution and the best state inspector – a total of 326 participants and 1 absolute winner.  Today, the results of the 18th republican contest "ECO-leader" were summed up on the stage of the "Pyramid" cultural and entertainment center. This year it is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Ministry's formation. Every year the competition gathers more and more participants who are not indifferent to the environment and ecology.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan accepts applications for participation in the Republican contest “ECO Leader”. The most environmentally friendly enterprises and educational institutions are invited to participate - whose task is to teach nature conservation, social activists who are not indifferent to environmental problems, and, of course, journalists who during the year became real assistant inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
