Eco-leaders of the republic were awarded today in Kazan
The most environmentally friendly enterprise, social movement, media, educational institution and the best state inspector – a total of 326 participants and 1 absolute winner. Today, the results of the 18th republican contest "ECO-leader" were summed up on the stage of the "Pyramid" cultural and entertainment center. This year it is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Ministry's formation. Every year the competition gathers more and more participants who are not indifferent to the environment and ecology.
The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Nigmatullin addressed the participants of the contest with a welcoming speech. "Our Republic is one of the most powerful industrial regions, which means that this is a great anthropogenic burden on the environment. Our main priority task is the restoration and protection of nature in order to leave our land to the descendants the way it got to us." The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan presented the staff of the Ministry of Ecology with a letter of thanks from the President of the Republic of Tatarstan for his great contribution to ensuring environmental safety and rational use of natural resources. Minister of Ecology Alexander Shadrikov thanked the leadership of the republic for such a high assessment and invited industry veterans to the stage: "Rakhmet bik zur! We received this award thanks to our veterans, those who taught us everything and passed on their invaluable experience. Thank you for the example you have given us, an example of genuine professionalism and selfless service to a noble cause, an example of humanism and love for our native land! Hats off to you." The Minister of Ecology presented departmental awards to the veterans of the industry.
