During the inspection of the Leninogorsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed unauthorized storage of waste in the Staroshugurovsky rural settlement. The area of the cluttered plot was 10208 sq.m.

Operation Clean Air is nearing completion. Let us recall that it started in Tatarstan on June 1 and will last until the end of September. Since the beginning of the operation, inspectors of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Traffic Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, have already checked 6,727 vehicles – these are 5,997 passenger cars, 359 trucks and 371 buses. The exhaust gases of 151 cars were found to exceed the standards for pollutants, which is 2.3% of all tested cars.

Inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted surveillance activities in the waters of the Kuibyshev and Nizhnekamsk reservoirs. During the survey of the Kuibyshev reservoir between the villages of Prosti and Betki, experts found a floating crane that carried out sand extraction outside the boundaries of the license area. In total, the violator extracted 245 tons of sand-gravel mixture.

During the monitoring of the city of Chistopol, inspectors of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed unauthorized storage of waste on Zagorodnaya Street. Construction and household waste, as well as car tires were stored here. The area of the contaminated site was 2500 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 250 cubic meters.

During the survey of the Almetyevsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed unauthorized waste storage in the city of Almetyevsk behind the Miras sports complex. The area of the cluttered site was 252 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 252 cubic meters.

During the survey of the Muslyumovsky district, inspectors of the Priiksky territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed unauthorized storage of waste near the village of Yelgabash. The area of the contaminated site was 340 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 120 cubic meters.

The Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received a complaint from residents of the Sovetsky district of Kazan through the "People's Control" system. Inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan went to the place of unauthorized waste storage near the Voznesensky tract. During the survey of the territory, the fact of the violation was confirmed. The area of the cluttered site was 187 sq.m., the volume of the landfill was 93 cubic meters.

Today, during the survey of the Baltasinsky district, inspectors of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed the fact of illegal drilling of a well in the Norminsky rural settlement. As environmentalists found out, the owner of the land plot was drilling a well to extract groundwater in order to use it for commercial purposes at a car wash in the future, while the owner did not issue a license to use the subsoil.

According to the information received from the villagers of Kachelino Arsky district about an unpleasant smell from the Kazanka River, inspectors of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan promptly went to the place. During the survey of the territory, the complaint was confirmed, presumably an unpleasant smell could come from the treatment facilities of LLC Vodokanal-Service in Arsk.

During the monitoring of the Almetyevsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed a spill of process fluid along the Almetyevsk-Ursala highway. The spill occurred as a result of depressurization of the discharge line from the cluster pumping station to the well of the Almetyevneft oil and gas production department. The area of contamination was about 200 sq.m.
