Litigation with the Criminal Code "Building the Future" ended in favor of the environment
The fact of dumping of household sewage in the river Chelna on the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny was revealed in August 2022. Inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan found that sewage drains fell into the river due to illegal tapping into the storm sewer in one of the entrances of the apartment building 12B on Polyakov Street. The analysis of the samples showed an excess of ammonium ions by 23.6 times, nitrite ions by 1.1 times, phosphorus phosphates by 5.8 times, manganese by 37 times and iron by 6 times.
The amount of damage amounted to about 543 thousand rubles.
The non-project connection was eliminated by the Management Company "Building the Future" after issuing a warning, but the damage caused to the water body of the Criminal Code voluntarily refused to compensate. The specialists of the Ministry of Ecology filed a lawsuit with the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. As a result, a decision was made to compensate for the damage in full.
