Inspectors of the Priiksky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an educational eco-lesson for primary school students of the gymnasium of Aznakaevo.

The lesson was held in an interactive format. Ecologists have prepared a series of educational activities: quizzes, riddles and puzzles dedicated to the bird world of Tatarstan. The guys enthusiastically joined in the work, learning new things about their feathered neighbors.

Special attention in the lesson was paid to the species of birds that remain wintering in our region. The children were told that in winter in forests, parks and even cities you can find not only the usual sparrows, blue pigeons and magpies, but also bullfinches, nuthatches, wandering flocks of pipits, as well as various tits: large, azure, coal tit .

The inspectors explained how difficult it is for birds to find food under snow and ice, and discussed in detail how to properly take care of them in winter: what can and cannot be fed, how often should the feeders be filled, and where should they be placed to protect birds from cats.

The lesson culminated in the practical part — the joint installation of more than 30 feeders on the school grounds and along Valikhanov Street. This initiative will not only help birds survive the winter period, but also teach children a responsible attitude towards nature.

"Today we have laid not just feeders, but small centers of life. Now you guys have your own important mission — to be the owners of this "bird canteen". Watch who arrives, study and be proud of your contribution," Elsa Valieva, a specialist at the Priiksky Administration, thanked the guys.

At the end of the lesson, all participants of the eco-lesson were awarded with memorable gifts and souvenirs from the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Such events clearly demonstrate that caring for the environment is not only the responsibility of specialists, but also everyone's contribution, which can be started from childhood. It should be recalled that holding such events and educating the younger generation to take care of the world around them is an important step towards achieving the goals of the national Environmental Well-being project.
