An integrated lesson in literature and ecology was held at Arskaya Secondary School No. 6 for 5th grade students. The invited guests were specialists from the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ashit State Nature Reserve.
The reflection of environmental issues in Russian literature was analyzed using the example of Natalia Sokolova's work "Ryabinka". The students shared their opinions and noted that the tree originated in order to please people with its beauty and benefit birds, but people did not appreciate it ... "Everyone, finding excuses, using their truth, did not think for a minute about the consequences of their actions," the students stressed.
The day before, the teachers conducted a tour of the park for the children, where everyone could appreciate the beauty of the rowan bushes. Combining the knowledge of the two classes together, the students concluded that it depends only on ourselves what the world around us will be like. The good will of man is to protect, preserve nature or crush, abuse it.
Ecologists of the Northern Department note that teachers at the Arsky school skillfully use their skills to attract children's attention to environmental problems and the state of nature of their native land. There is also an exhibition in the school lobby showing the beauty and rich gifts of autumn.
