18 September 2024, Wednesday

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received a report on wastewater pollution of the lake in the village of Gabishevo in Laishevsky district. Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration who went to the site confirmed the presence of a sewage pumping station on the shore of an unnamed lake. But the facts of discharge into a water body or onto a coastal strip were not revealed during the survey.

As part of the administrative investigation, the balance holder of the sewer was installed. Inspectors sent a warning to him for the lack of registration of the object as having a negative impact on the environment (art.8.46 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation).

Information about the functioning of the sewage plant is being clarified, in particular, about the end point of discharge from the collector.
