Every second landfill identified during the two-month period has been eliminated
According to the results of the ecological two-month period, almost 4 thousand violations were detected in Tatarstan, First Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilnur Gubaidullin said on the air of the Tatarstan Regional Management Center.
In particular, during the two–month period, 3,460 violations were revealed, 1,360 of them were unauthorized landfills. Every second landfill was eliminated. 350 thousand cubic meters of waste were exported to landfills. Let us recall that the identification of environmental violations and their elimination contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Ecology".
"The violator, in the presence of photo and video evidence, will be punished in accordance with the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. We are working on such issues together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Prosecutor's Office. If there is no evidence of guilt, then penalties are already applied to the owner of the land on which the landfill was discovered. In this case, a claim is sent to the violator, and if the landfill is not eliminated, the material damage is calculated and a lawsuit is filed," the first Deputy Minister of Ecology noted during the broadcast. At the same time, it may take quite a long time to eliminate the landfill. So, the landfill in the gardeners' non-commercial partnership "Zaovrazhye" has been trying to liquidate in court for about two years; the amount of the claim is more than 88 million rubles.
Ilnur Gubaidullin also said that residents are actively helping to identify landfills through the "People's Control" system. Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources go to the site to fix violations. Thanks to the indifference of residents, it is possible to detect a large number of landfills of construction waste.
Speaking live, Ilnur Gubaidullin also announced the statistics of appeals to the department. So, since the beginning of the year, more than 300 statements on atmospheric air quality have been received from residents of the northern part of Kazan alone, and about 500 appeals have come from Tatarstan residents on the topic of pollution of reservoirs.
