The Volga-Kama Nature Reserve has received significant support in the form of a new working transport. The President of the Republic, Rustam Nurgalievich Minnikhanov, assisted in the purchase of new cars for the Department of Conservation of the reserve. The institution's garage has been replenished with 3 UAZ trucks (EXPEDITION and small forest patrol complex) and a LADA Niva Travel car. SUVs equipped with the necessary equipment will become a mainstay in the prevention and prompt resolution of environmental violations, ensuring fire safety in the protected area. The staff of the security department has already evaluated the new vehicles and is ready to start operating them in the new, jubilee year for the reserve. In 2025, the reserve will celebrate its 65th anniversary.
The director of the reserve, Yan Murzakhanov, thanked the President of the Republic of Tatarstan: "We sincerely thank you for the necessary gift. It is very pleasant and valuable that the leadership of the republic shows such attention to our natural territory. The reserve is a unique corner that attracts people from all over the country." The entire staff of the reserve expresses its appreciation and gratitude to all the partners who provided support: at the suggestion of the Association of Property Management and Material Security Institutions, the Ministry of Land and Property Relations of the Republic of Tatarstan donated these machines. The reserve expresses its deep gratitude to the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor.
The Volzhsko-Kamsky Nature Reserve is the only nature reserve in the Republic of Tatarstan. Its employees have been protecting and researching the unique natural complex of the region for many years. To fulfill the tasks set within the framework of the new national project "Environmental well-being", modern and high-quality equipment is needed that allows one to quickly respond to challenges, overcome natural obstacles, ensure safety and simplify actions in emergency situations.
