On the Day of Environmental Protection, the results of the EQUEST competition were summed up
Kazan State Energy University summed up the results of the Republican online contest "EQUEST". This year, more than 1,000 eco-activists from 33 cities and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the competition.
The winners of the competition were welcomed by Deputy Minister of Ecology Egor Tarnavsky, head of the Youth Environmental Movement "It Will Be Clean" Dilara Satikova and Vice-Rector for Science of Kazan State Energy University Igor Ivshin.
This year, the participants of the competition had to complete 20 tasks in three thematic blocks: "Eco-culture", "Eco-events" and "Nature Protection". Throughout the month, activists held clean-up days, eco-festivals, planted trees and flowers, developed eco-quests, helped animals and exchanged books. Together, the participants were able to hold more than 2,400 events.
"Today, on World Environment Day, I am glad to welcome the most active conservationists to the award ceremony of the Equestrian competition. In just one month, you have held more than 2,000 events for the benefit of our nature, and I express my great gratitude to you for your work and contribution to environmental protection," Deputy Minister Egor Tarnavsky said in his speech.
According to the results of the competition, the first places were taken:
The ECO-Joy team of kindergarten No. 53 won in the "Young Ecologists" category. Osinovo, Zelenodolsk district of the Republic of Tatarstan;
In the "Ecolyata" category, the 1st place belongs to the "Heirs of Raifa" team, Belobezvodnenskaya Library-branch No. 12, Zelenodolsk;
In the category of "Eco-schools", the 1st place was taken by the team "Green Patrol" of the Chuvash-Brodsky school of the Alkeevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan;
The team "Tabigat yerage" of the Nizhnekamsk branch of the College of Kazan Innovation University won in the "StudEco" category;
The Amoeba DAS 6 team of the Kazan National Research Technological University took the 1st place in the "StudecoVUZY" category;
And in the EcoPro category, the 1st place was taken by the Ecologists team of the Youth Movement "It will Be Clean" in Almetyevsk.
Let us recall that the organizers of the competition are the Regional Youth Public Organization "It will be clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
