"Dear employees of environmental protection agencies, industry veterans and residents of the republic! This date is our common holiday, because the word ecology is now perceived as a synonym for the word life. I am sure there is no person who would not care what kind of water he drinks, what kind of air he breathes, what kind of land his children and grandchildren will get.
This day has already become a symbol of caring and personal involvement for the world around us, a reminder of the fragility and value of the world around us, and of our personal responsibility for every spring, every tree, and living being.
I congratulate my fellow ecologists, our like-minded people, those who, by virtue of their professional activities and at the call of their hearts, are engaged in issues of nature conservation, increasing its riches, and preserving its diversity. Human health, and therefore the future on earth, depends on the purity of this wealth.
Congratulations to our volunteers, activists and enthusiasts who are united by one goal – to make this world a better, cleaner, kinder place. More and more people are interested in environmental issues and understand that it is necessary to start changing and improving living conditions first of all from themselves, their homes, streets, districts, and cities.
Our residents, youth associations, and young people annually go on mass clean-up days, fight for the purity of rivers and lakes, and hold environmental events and forums.
We live in a unique place, in the heart of the great Volga, admiring the beauty of national parks, nature reserves and lakes. It is important that the preservation of this natural heritage has become our common vocation!
Ecology unites us!
