Employees of the territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology introduced schoolchildren to the work of the ecological laboratory
As part of the All-Russian environmental campaign "Marathon of Green Affairs", educational excursions for schoolchildren were held in the territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology. The children were introduced to the work of a mobile environmental laboratory. The boys and girls were first told what kind of profession an ecologist is and what environmental supervision is.
Then the students were able to imagine themselves in the place of employees of the Ministry of Ecology. Together with the inspectors, they took samples of atmospheric air. The children were clearly shown what is inside the laboratory and how to determine the air quality. The students also learned what the air envelope of the Earth is, which trees and plants emit the most oxygen and how much oxygen a person needs per day. Such excursions have already become a good tradition for our Ministry, because clean Tatarstan largely depends on environmental education.
