During the monitoring of Almetyevsk, inspectors of the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan identified an unauthorized waste dump on the territory of the Almetyevsk central district hospital. On the spot, environmentalists found workers dumping waste on the ground, despite the containers for construction waste installed on the territory of the hospital. Several hospital statements with personal data of patients were found among the construction debris.
A warning was sent to the chief physician of the Almetyevsk Central Hospital about the inadmissibility of violating environmental legislation and the need to take measures to eliminate the landfill. Currently, environmentalists are calculating the amount of damage caused to the environment.
Let us recall that in May 2019, a similar violation was revealed. At that time, a landfill of construction debris and medical records of patients was found near the village of Nizhnyaya Maktama. It turned out that the documents belong to the Almetyevsk CDH autonomous public health care institution. In 2017, the documents were moved to the first floor of the hospital, as the building was undergoing major repairs. Then, due to inattention, they were taken to a landfill.
