The air quality control stations of the Ministry of Ecology for a week recorded exceeding the permissible concentration of pollutants in Kazan and in the Zelenodolsk district
From September 8 to 15, 28 hydrogen sulfide excesses with a maximum multiplicity of 3.4 MPC and 1 hydrogen sulfide excess were recorded at AAPCS-5, located in the residential complex "Salavat Cooper", and 1 excess in hydrogen sulfide at AAPCS–1, located in the village of Osinovo. Also on AAPCS-2 on Pavlyukhina str. 75 in Kazan, nitrogen oxide exceedances were recorded with a maximum multiplicity of 1.7 MPC.
At the other stations of the Ministry, the excess of the MPC of pollutants was not recorded.
Over the past week, the Ministry of Ecology received 27 appeals from residents of the residential complex "Salavat Kupere". At the request of residents, mobile ecological laboratory visits to the northern zone of Kazan were organized, including at night. In addition, ecologists took samples using a hand-held sampling pump for analysis on a wider list of substances. According to the results of these analyses and road trips, no excess was recorded in the residential area.
Information about the excesses recorded at the control stations was sent under the jurisdiction of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan and the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor.
