Inspectors of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan told the schoolchildren of the lower grades of the Sredneverezinsky primary school of the Arsky district about how important it is to protect nature. The inspectors introduced the children to the environmental actions carried out by the Ministry of Ecology. For example, schoolchildren can take part in the collection of batteries, hand over the scrap metal for recycling, come to a clean-up day or do a good deed for nature and become a participant in the #GoodnessRelay.
At the end of the eco-talk, the inspectors invited the guys to play a game. Schoolchildren solved riddles, answered questions on ecology.
The children also told environmentalists that they actively participate in cleaning campaigns, planting trees and shrubs with parents and kindergarten teachers.
"Now we increasingly see in children an interest in ecology. Many children together with their parents not only take an active part in the campaigns, but also generally lead an eco-friendly lifestyle. Kids tell us how they sort garbage at home, collect lids or batteries, monitor the cleanliness around their home, kindergarten or school – this is very pleasing. This means that a generation is growing for which ecology will be in the first place," said Aliya Shaimullina, inspector of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
