Unauthorized discharge of waste of production (dairy) products of the cooperative "Zai" was revealed by inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan
According to the information received about the unauthorized discharge of waste from the production (dairy) products of the cooperative "Zai" to the soil in the city of Zainsk, inspectors of the Zakamsky territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan carried out a field visit. During the survey of the territory, the fact of violation of environmental legislation was confirmed. The total area of the contaminated area is 654.38 sq.m., the volume is 264.36 cubic meters.
Ecologists took soil samples at two sites. According to the results of laboratory studies at one site, exceedances of ammonium ion by 1.3 times, nitrate nitrogen by 1.4 times, nitrite nitrogen by 1.7 times, and sulfate ion by 1.5 times were revealed. In the second section, the excess of nitrate nitrogen by 1.4 times, nitrite nitrogen by 1.1 times, and sulfate ion by 1.4 times were detected.
In the adjacent territory, the agricultural cooperative "Zai" carries out activities for the production of dairy products. The object on which economic activity is carried out and which may have a negative impact on the environment is not put by the enterprise on state registration. The cooperative "Zai" was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory legal requirements.
All materials were transferred to the Zainsk City Prosecutor's Office for taking response measures.
Also, the inspectors found unauthorized storage of waste in the territory adjacent to the cooperative "Zai". The area of the contaminated site was 69.29, the volume of the landfill was 9.46 cubic meters.
A warning about the inadmissibility of violating environmental legislation was also issued to the owner of the land plot.
