15 May 2023, Monday

The violator in the Tyulyachinsky district was obliged to compensate for the damage caused to the environment in the amount of 126,880 rubles. This decision was made by the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. Last year, inspectors of the Northern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan identified an unauthorized waste dump in the village of Kazaklar in the Tyulyachinsky district. Car tires, straw, polyethylene and wood waste littered the territory on an area of 135 sq. m. Then the owner of the land plot was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating the mandatory requirements of environmental legislation and the liquidation of the landfill. Environmentalists also calculated and presented damage to the environment in the amount of 74,500 rubles. However, the guilty person voluntarily refused to eliminate the violation and compensate for the damage. The Northern TA filed a claim with the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The environmentalists' claims were satisfied, the court ordered the violator to compensate for the damage caused to the environment, increasing the fine to 126,880 rubles.

As of today, the landfill has been liquidated; the territory has been brought into proper sanitary and ecological condition.
