A dump of more than 200 sq.m was discovered during a raid by environmentalists of the Volga-Kama TA of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan
Within the framework of the ecological two-month period, inspectors of the Volga-Kama TA conducted monitoring of the Aksubayevsky district. Unauthorized waste disposal sites were identified in 2 localities.
In the village of Staroe Aksubaevo, the area of the discovered landfill was more than 200 sq.m. Waste belongs to the fourth hazard class. The second violation was recorded a hundred meters northwest of the outskirts of the village of Novoye Aksubaevo. Household garbage was also illegally stored here. The area of contamination of the territory is 100 sq.m.
According to the revealed facts of violations, the inspectors of the Volga-Kama TA issued warnings about the inadmissibility of violations of environmental legislation to the Executive Committees of Novoaksubaevsky and Staroaksubaevsky districts. Within 60 days they will have to eliminate landfills.
