Nizhnekamsk court ruled in favor of environmentalists
Employees of the Zakamsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed the fact of littering of the land plot with waste in Nizhnekamsk. Environmentalists issued a warning to the violator, which was not fulfilled on time. A claim for voluntary compensation for damage caused to soils was sent to the violator who allowed illegal storage.
However, on a voluntary basis, the legal entity did not compensate the damage, in connection with which a lawsuit was filed with the Nizhnekamsk City Court of the Republic of Tatarstan. The requirements of the Ministry were met in full. According to the court decision, the violator is obliged to eliminate the violation and pay the damage caused to the environment in the amount of 85,800 rubles. Currently, the landfill has been liquidated, the territory has been brought into proper sanitary and ecological condition.
