From February 20 to 28, the republican online intensive "Ecological University" was held from the part of Regional Youth Public Organization "It will be clean!". The training was conducted by curators and coordinators of environmental associations of the Republic of Tatarstan.
As part of the intensive, the participants got acquainted with the activities of the environmental movement "It will be Clean", learned current environmental issues in the Republic of Tatarstan, received theoretical and practical knowledge. On the first day of the online lesson, Damir Valiullin, Head of the Information Systems and Environmental Education Department of the Ministry of Tatarstan, explained the role of youth in the development of the environmental movement and answered questions from eco-activists.
"Such "Ecological universities" are very important for the residents of Tatarstan. Now the youth environmental movement "It will be clean" is actively developing in the republic. They are the ones who organize such eco-oriented events today. The number of participants in the youth movement "It will Be Clean" is now 9600 people. It is important for us that every resident of Tatarstan realizes the importance and role of ecology both in the life of the whole society and separately in the life of each person," Damir Valiullin said.
A point-rating system operated throughout the intensive. Participants received points for completing homework, as well as for attending classes. On February 28, the results of the intensive were summed up and the names of the winners were announced.
1st place – Lyudmila Aleksandrovna Chebanova – MBOU "Basic secondary school No. 6" of the Chistopolsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan
2nd place – Leila Ramilevna Mustafina – MBOU "Gymnasium No. 1 named after Riza Fakhretdin" of Almetyevsk
3rd place – Alexey Vladimirovich Petrov – Kazan State Power Engineering University
The organizers of the intensive are the Regional Youth Public Organization "It will be Clean" of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event contributes to the achievement of the goals of the national project "Ecology".
