This holiday is a great opportunity to learn and appreciate the diversity of evergreen trees. To remind about this little-known holiday, inspectors of the Central, South-Eastern and Northern territorial administrations of the Ministry of Ecology conducted lessons in schools and kindergartens.
So, preschool children of kindergarten No. 326 together with ecologists of the Central TA went on an exciting journey into the world of plants. The children learned which plants are called rare and why they are listed in the Red Book. And most importantly, the inspectors told us what needs to be done so that this list doesn't grow.
But in the Lesno-Kaleikinsky school for students of the 6th grades of the Almetyevsk district, inspectors of the South-Eastern TA held a lecture "Forest plants". The lesson was held in a playful way, the children were divided into two teams and competed in knowledge about plants, trees and mushrooms. Of course, friendship won!
Specialists of the Northern TA visited two schools at once in the Kukmor and Arsky districts. At the Kh.V. Vagapov school students of grades 1-4 were told about the value of coniferous trees and how to replace a living spruce in the New Year without harming the environment. The children shared their ideas of eco-friendly decorations for the New Year tree. And for the 6th grades of the Arsk school, ecologists held an exciting lesson, which they dedicated to the beautiful mountain ash. The guys learned that there are over 100 species of this tree in the world. Common mountain ash grows in Tatarstan. Such trees live up to about 80-100 years and they are very winter hardy.
The children promised that they would definitely take care of the plants and plant their own tree. As a souvenir, young conservationists were presented with coloring books from the Ministry of Ecology and, of course, positive emotions.
