The progress of work within the framework of the national project "Ecology" was evaluated by representatives of environmental agencies
Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Yegor Tarnavsky and Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor Denis Alexandrov got acquainted with the progress of work at the facilities implemented within the framework of the national project "Ecology".
According to the federal project "Clean Country", work is currently underway on laying geotextile products at the Samosyrovsky landfill. The total readiness of the facility is 57%. Let us recall that the area of recultivated land is 14.14 hectares, and the volume of accumulated waste is 1560 thousand cubic meters. The implementation period of the event is 2021-2023. After completion of the work, the quality of life of 342.9 thousand people will improve.
Yegor Tarnavsky and Denis Alexandrov also examined how the work is going on in the silt fields of BOSK Kazan. Reclamation here is carried out within the framework of the federal project "Volga Rehabilitation" in the direction of "Elimination (reclamation) of objects of accumulated environmental damage that pose a threat to the Volga River" of the national project "Ecology". The customer of the works is the State Institution "Main Investment and Construction Department of the Republic of Tatarstan". Currently, work is underway on the installation of permanent and temporary anti-filtration protection, the movement of silt sediment and the preparation of maps for geotubes: the device of the lower screen. The total readiness of the facility is 48%. The implementation period is 2021-2024. With the elimination of this object of accumulated harm, the quality of life of 1,257 thousand Tatarstan residents will improve.
Then the Deputy Minister of Ecology and the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor got acquainted with the progress of work on the reconstruction of the BOSK of Kazan. The work is being carried out within the framework of the federal project "Improvement of the Volga" in the direction: "Reduction of the share of polluted wastewater discharged into the Volga river" of the national project "Ecology". The overall readiness of the facility is 44%.
