Eco-lesson "Just divide!" was held by ecologists for schoolchildren of Tatarstan
Inspectors of the Volga-Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry, together with representatives of Grint LLC, conducted an environmental lesson for 6th grade students of Chistopol School No. 16.
In a playful way, the students got acquainted with various ways of waste management, their disadvantages and advantages. In order for the children to consolidate their knowledge, the ecologists of the Ministry suggested that schoolchildren create their own plan to improve sorting and environmental protection.
The same lesson was held in Nizhnekamsk School No. 26 with in-depth study of individual subjects. During the lesson, the inspectors of the Zakamsky TA told the students of the 4th grades how long the garbage decomposes. The children learned that plastic bottles decompose within 400 years, but glass – more than 1000 years.
The participants promised environmentalists to start sorting garbage at home and at school, and many have been practicing separate waste collection with the whole family for a long time.
