A huge landfill, the size of almost two football fields, was liquidated after the intervention of environmentalists
Inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan have identified a large landfill near the village of Kamskoye Ustye, Kamsko-Ustinsky district. The total area of the illegal dump is 12,000 sq.m., the volume is 1,500 cubic meters. The owner of the site turned out to be the Executive Committee of the Kamsko-Ustinsky district.
Zavolzhsky TA sent a statement of claim to the Kamsko-Ustinsky district Court with a demand to clear the territory. According to the court decision, the violator was obliged to liquidate the unauthorized waste dump by the end of November.
At the moment, the Executive Committee of the Maloshilninsky rural settlement took out all the garbage and cleaned the territory.
