Environmentalists have revealed the clutter of container sites in the regions of Tatarstan and Kazan
In connection with the receipt of a large number of complaints about the late removal of waste by a regional operator, specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with employees of the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor, monitored container sites in Kazan and nearby areas.
During the monitoring, several cases of littering of container sites were identified. So, only in the Sovetsky district of Kazan 5 such addresses were established, the volume of unauthorized waste was 49 cubic meters there. There are facts of cluttering of sites in the Privolzhsky and Kirovsky districts of Kazan. 4 addresses where there are problems with garbage collection are also recorded in the Laishevsky district and 2 addresses in the Pestrechinsky district.
According to environmentalists, one of the reasons for the cluttering of container sites is the untimely removal of waste, as a result of which residents are forced to leave their garbage next to containers.
Survey reports were drawn up on all the facts of environmental violations. All materials were transferred to the Volga-Kama Interregional Department of Rosprirodnadzor in the Republic of Tatarstan for further administrative response measures.
