More than 400 bags of garbage were collected as a result of cleaning at the Kama river in Naberezhnye Chelny
Today, residents of Avtograd, activists and voluntary helpers have cleared the coastal zone of the Kama River near the residential complex "Chally-Yar". The environmental campaign "Water of Russia" was held within the framework of the federal project "Preservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology". The event was held with the assistance of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
About 150 eco-volunteers took part in the campaign. Activists managed to clear more than 2 km of the coastal strip and collect 450 bags of garbage, dividing it into fractions. The collected garbage was taken out by JSC "Gorzelenkhoz", and the glass was taken away by employees of the Charity Fund for Support of Motherhood and Childhood "Skynet", they will create author's dishes from recyclables.
