From April 5 to 25, the All-Russian Online Olympiad on Ecology and the surrounding world will start
Students of grades 1-6 can take part in the Olympiad on the surrounding world and ecology. The organizers of the event are the educational online platform «Учи.ру» and ANO "National Priorities".
The purpose of the online Olympiad is to develop ecological thinking, increase the level of environmental awareness and involve not only schoolchildren, but also their parents and teachers in the environmental agenda. Key topics of the Olympiad: prevention of forest fires and conservation of red Book animals.
When completing tasks, students will be able to get acquainted with interesting facts about the surrounding world and ecology. Some of the tasks will also simulate life situations.
For example, in the task "Solve the problem", the child will try himself as a mayor and try to solve the environmental problems of local residents. According to the organizers, this will increase the interest of schoolchildren in ecology, making questions on this topic closer and clearer. Tasks of the All-Russian Online Olympiad on Ecology and the surrounding world will be available on the «Учи.ру» website from April 5. To participate, you need a computer or tablet with Internet access.
During the online Olympiad, environmental volunteers of the All-Russian Public Organization "Do it!" will conduct eco-lessons and talk about topical environmental issues.
