Today, the winners of the Open Republican Youth Contest of Social Ecological Advertisement “Clear view” were awarded at the technopark in the field of high technologies “IT-Park”. It is the second time that the contest is held by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. This year, more than 200 materials from 24 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, including Moscow, Chelyabinsk region, Tomsk, Murmansk, Saransk, Astrakhan, and the Republic of Mordovia were submitted for consideration.

On December 13, at 2 p.m., the results of the “Clear look” contest will be summarized, and the winners will be awarded at the technical park in the field of high-tech solutions “IT-park”. This year, more than 200 pieces of work from 20 constituent entities of the Russian Federation were submitted for competition.

Today, the results of two republican contests “ECOleader” and “Man and Nature” were summarized. This year annual contests were devoted to the Year for Ecological Culture and Nature Protection in Tatarstan. The winners were awarded at the State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company “Corston” and included representatives of companies and enterprises in every field of industry, agro-industrial and housing and utility complexes, sole proprietors, self-governing authorities, public organizations and associations, educational and cultural establishments, institutions of social field and health care, representatives of mass media (including photojournalists), TV and radio companies, as well as online media operating on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On December 10, the awarding ceremony for the prize-winners of ‘ECOleader” and “Man and Nature” contests will take place at 10.00 at the State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company “Corston”. In 2013, the annual Republican contests are devoted to the Year for Ecological Culture and Environment Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan.
This year, representatives of about 300 companies and enterprises of all the fields of industry, agro-industrial and housing and utility complexes, sole proprietors, self-governing authorities of municipal establishments, public organizations and associations, educational and cultural institutions, establishments of the social and health care field, religious organizations and associations engaged in various activities in the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the “ECOleader” contest.
The Spartakiad of the state officials of the Republic of Tatarstan is held in Kazan. In the framework of the Spartakiad, on December 7th, a group stage of basketball competitions was held at the sports complex “Tezuche”. Following the results of the drawing procedure, the team of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan was to play in a group against the team of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan.
      On December 12, 2013, the All-Russian Day for Reception of Citizens will be held from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Day of the Constitution of the Russian Federation in compliance with the order of the President of the Russian Federation at the state and self-governing authorities.
         Citizens will be received by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan at the following address: Kazan, 75 Pavlukhina str.
The following issues fall within the province of the Ministry:
- assurance of the exercise of the citizens’ right to favorable environment;
- assurance of ecological safety;
- prevention of negative impact of economic and other activity on the environment;
- elaboration and implementation of nature protection programs and projects;
- management of the state subsurface fund within the limits of competence.

On December 4, 2013, the meeting of the round table “Ecoculture in modern conditions” was held at the National Cultural Center ‘Kazan”. Organizers included the Republican Center for Development of Traditional Culture under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Executive Committee of the Republican Public Movement “Tatarstan is a new age” – “Tatarstan – Yana gasyr”. Principal Adviser of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources Elena Gilmizyanova participated in the meeting of the round table.

On December 4, 2013, on the day of final sitting of the Congress, 2 thousand delegates from 83 regions of Russia voted for the Resolution adoption. The document, final version of which assumes creation of the Federal Environmental Council affiliated to the Government of the Russian Federation, was supported by 93% of voters.
 

On December 4, 2013, within the framework of the IV All-Russian Congress on Environmental Protection, the I All-Russian Youth Environmental Forum took place at the Crocus City Hall. Active involvement of youth into campaigns related to environmental protection and formation of environmental culture of the population became its main purpose. Within the framework of the Forum, participants from different regions of Russia shared their best practices of implementation of projects in the environmental protection sphere, and discussed new directions of nature protection activity.
