Summarization of results of “ECOleader” and “Man and Nature” contests

On December 10, the awarding ceremony for the prize-winners of ‘ECOleader” and “Man and Nature” contests will take place at 10.00 at the State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company “Corston”. In 2013, the annual Republican contests are devoted to the Year for Ecological Culture and Environment Protection in the Republic of Tatarstan.
This year, representatives of about 300 companies and enterprises of all the fields of industry, agro-industrial and housing and utility complexes, sole proprietors, self-governing authorities of municipal establishments, public organizations and associations, educational and cultural institutions, establishments of the social and health care field, religious organizations and associations engaged in various activities in the Republic of Tatarstan participated in the “ECOleader” contest.
More than 150 journalists participated in the “Man and Nature” contest from print media (including photojournalists), TV and radio broadcasting companies and online media operating on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Prize-winners will be named on December 10 at 10.00 at the State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company “Corston” in the framework of the awarding ceremony.

As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. As part of the monitoring of the territory of Naberezhnye Chelny, inspectors of the Kama Department revealed a violation of environmental legislation.
