On March 29, the 1st Republican Competition of Research and Design Projects of pupils of grades 1-4 “I COME TO KNOW THE WORLD” was held at the City Youth Art Centre №1 of Naberezhnye Chelny City with the support of Cis-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, the meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Environmental Safety, Nature Management and Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare in the Republic of Tatarstan chaired by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov took place in the form of a videoconference in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

     The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan has got numerous written complaints on air pollution produced by the emissions of asphalt mixing installations of ACMP “Dorstroy Kazan” JSC, located in Privolzhsky district of Kazan at the address: 18 Lebedeva str.

On March 27, an extended session of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with the participation of the Minister for Ecology Artem Sidorov took place in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with the agenda “On creation of the natural and sports coastal park for the 2013 Universiade on the Kazanka river right bank in Kazan city in the area stretching from the Palace of Water Sports to the Millennium Bridge”.

Today, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the briefing meeting “On the new methods of work of environmental protection agencies in the course of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign on cleaning the municipal territories and city districts of the Republic of Tatarstan that will take place from April 1 to June 1, 2012”. The meeting was held in the form of a videoconference in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov has held an ordinary meeting with activists of public nature protection organizations on cooperation within the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign.

Annually on the last Saturday of March millions of people all over the world turn lights off for an hour as the future of the Earth is of great importance to them. Earth Hour represents a symbol of environmental friendliness, care for scarce natural resources of the planet and public call-up for radical steps towards climate conservation.

On March 24, the All-Russian campaign on wastepaper collection “Subbotka-Pererabotka” will be held in Tatarstan with the assistance of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The campaign is organized on the initiative of EKA Movement.

      Within the frame of World Water Day the Student Conference “The development of environmental culture among pupils in educational process” was organized in the secondary school № 3 of Almetyevsk with the support of South-East Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Municipal Budgetary Establishment “the Department of Ecology and Environmental Management of Almetyevsk Municipal District" and Almetyevsk Education Department.

Today, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov, Almetyevsk Municipal District Administrator, took part in the XIII (joint) session of Almetyevsk Municipal District Council and City Council, which took place in Almetyevsk Administration.
