Conference “I Come to Know the World”

     On March 29, the 1st Republican Competition of Research and Design Projects of pupils of grades 1-4 “I COME TO KNOW THE WORLD” was held at the City Youth Art Centre №1 of Naberezhnye Chelny City with the support of Cis-Kama Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

     The conference was held in two stages: 280 projects from 37 communities of the Republic of Tatarstan were presented by correspondence, and 170 of them were chosen to be shown in person.           

     321 people from 25 communities of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the second stage of the competition. Participants represented 76 educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan, including 19 educational establishments of Naberezhnye Chelny and 57 educational establishments of other cities.

     The greatest number of projects was devoted to the “Ecology” workshop, so four workshops were engaged in this area: “General Ecology and Human Health”, “Ecology: Objects and Phenomena of Inanimate Nature”, “Ecology: Plants”, “Ecology: Birds and Animals“.

     The winners in the “Ecology” workshop were awarded with gifts from the Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in Naberezhnye Chelny City.
