For 3 days, an ecological rafting was held along the Vyatka River, organized by the Russian Geographical Society of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the federal project "Conservation of unique water bodies" of the national project "Ecology".

The route of the trip took place from Vyatskiye Polyany, Kirov region, to the village of Lubyany, Kukmorsky district. Activists of the youth club of the RGS of the Republic of Tatarstan, including two students from China and Algeria, took part in the water trip. The guys overcame 45 km of the waterway.

As the participants of the ecological campaign noted, on the first day the sunny weather abruptly changed to torrential rain with a strong wind. "Being in raincoats, we got soaked through. They stuck to the shore, hid under the trees, this was the whole charm of the rafting, " the head of the MK RGS Rustam Farkhullin shared his impressions. He also added that despite the bad weather, the participants assessed the state of the coastal territory and cleared the shores of the debris encountered. In total, 15 bags filled with empty bottles, bags and disposable dishes were collected at tourist parking lots along the Vyatka River.
