A pit with a depth of 5 m was dug by miners of ferrous metal scrap in the Almetyevsk district
As part of the monitoring by ecologists of the South – Eastern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, the fact of unauthorized removal and movement of the fertile soil layer was recorded. The violation was detected on the territory of the former landfill of solid waste in the village Lower Maktama of the Almetyevsk district. As it turned out, the excavation work was carried out with the aim of removing scrap metal using an excavator without a state number, while there was no permits. The area of the developed site was 188 sq. m., the depth was more than 5 m.
According to the identification number indicated on the loader, specialists sent a request to the State Technical Supervision of the Republic of Tatarstan in Almetyevsk to determine the owner of special equipment. In relation to the guilty person, protocols on an administrative offense under Part 1 of Article 8.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation and part 2 of p.8.7 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation were drawn up. Currently, the site is technically reclaimed, the territory is brought into proper condition.
