A special ceremony of awarding the winners of the Snow Leopard children's drawings, crafts and posters contest took place in Kazan. The event took place within the walls of the Zoological Museum and Herbarium named after E. A. Eversman of Kazan Federal University.

Inspectors of the Zavolzhsky Administration conducted a lesson on "Ecologists — defenders of nature" at Buinsky Lyceum No. 2 for 3rd grade students. The children were taught the importance of caring for the world around them. Firaya Kalimullina, a specialist from the Zavolzhsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke to the students and told them what each of them can do to protect nature.

On the territory of the Leninogorsk district, inspectors from the Southeastern Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed violations of environmental legislation. At the quarry of LLC Karkalinsky Crushed Stone, it was recorded that the company did not comply with the terms of the mining license. The company stored production waste, which is scrap concrete products, on agricultural land, which is not allowed.  The area of the violation was 205 sq. m.

A reception of citizens on environmental welfare issues was held in Arsk. The meeting with the residents was held by Kazan interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor Roman Terekhov, prosecutor of the Arsky district Rinat Karimov and head of the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan Lenar Kasimov.

The second session of the district and City Councils was held in Nurlat today. The meeting was held under the leadership of the head of the Nurlatsky district, Damir Ishkineev. Alexander Shadrikov, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the session.

Earlier, inspectors of the Kama Department found a violation of environmental requirements in the handling of industrial and consumer waste.

Cleaning of territories took place in the village of Islaikino and Tatarsky Sarsaz in the Chistopol district.

At the Lyceum named after M. K. Tagirov of Almetyevsk a special eco-lesson was held. It was held for the youngest lyceum students by the hero of the special military operation Igor Egorov. The theme of the lesson, "Caring for the environment," was closely related to his main values: love for his land and responsibility for it.

Earlier, as part of the monitoring of the Zainsky district, inspectors of the Zakamsky department revealed a violation of environmental legislation. In the village of Begishevo, environmentalists recorded unauthorized waste storage.

On October 23, the results of the "Snow Leopard" drawing, crafts and poster contest will be announced in Kazan. The jury has already selected the winners, and on the International Snow Leopard Day we will announce the authors of the best works.
