Kazan school and preschool children collected more than 5 tons of waste paper for secondary use. The students joined the ecological campaign at the beginning of the academic year. During the summer holidays they collected old newspapers, magazines, boxes, and on September 2 already brought them to the collection point. The number of paper stacks was growing every day.

People of Nizhnekamsk took part in the greening of the city. Participation of the citizens in the campaign “Plant a tree” was supported by experts of the Zakamsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, representatives of the city administration, students of the Children’s Ecological and Biological Center of Nizhnekamsk. On the city streets there were planted seedlings of mountain ash and fir trees, which will work as natural “filters”. “Each person in its life must plant at least one tree,” the protesters noted. – Just one tree can absorb as much carbon dioxide as a car produces for 40,000 kilometers.”

On May 6, 2017 at 11:00 in Osinovsky rural settlement on the coastal territory of Lake Osinovo, 2 Ozernaya str., an ecological action “Clean it all” will be held. The event is held within the framework of the Republican project “Personnel reserve” and is dedicated to the Year of Ecology and public spaces in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The event was attended by schoolchildren of grades 5-11 of the educational institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Kirov region, and the Republic of Mari El. The deputy Minister of ecology and natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the chief state inspector of Tatarstan in the field of environmental protection Fayaz Shakirov addressed the forum participants with a welcoming speech.

Cleanliness of Naberezhnye Chelny is checked by inspectors of the Prikamsky territorial department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Within the sanitary-ecological two-month campaign, which is taking place in these days in Tatarstan, inspections are daily conducted to identify the places of unauthorized waste disposal. Young environmentalists studied the properties of water and air, analyzed their quality, identified the main functions in human life. The educational event was attended by specialists from the Zavolzhsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On May 3, the whole world celebrates the Day of the Sun. The festive date was established by the International Society of Solar Energy in 1994. The main goal of the holiday is to concentrate the efforts of intellectuals of the whole planet on the development of ways of wide use of renewable energy sources, presented to us by nature. The percentage of current consumption by mankind of the enormous energy of the Sun, sea waves, wind, regular tides and outflows is impermissiblely low.

On the eve of the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, an Alley of Veterans was opened in Neftegrad. War veterans, workers of the rear, honorary citizens of the city and district and inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan came to plant Siberian ornamental apples. As participants of the action noted, the new trees will made the city much greener.
