Alley of Veterans opened in Almetyevsk

On the eve of the 72nd anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, an Alley of Veterans was opened in Neftegrad. War veterans, workers of the rear, honorary citizens of the city and district and inspectors of the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan came to plant Siberian ornamental apples. As participants of the action noted, the new trees will made the city much greener. In addition, they will serve as a kind of monument to soldiers who died in the war. In the near future, each planted tree will have tablets with the names of Heroes of the Soviet Union, participants in the Great Patriotic War and holders of the Order of Military Glory of three degrees.
