From November 30 to December 1, 2017 the VIII specialized exhibition and congress " Clean water. Kazan " will be held in the exhibition center Kazanskaya Yarmarka. This event is organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal State Budgetary Water Management Agency "Sredvolgavodkhoz", and the OJSC "Kazanskaya Yarmarka".

Today, biological treatment facilities were opened after reconstruction in Verkhny Uslon. Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev familiarized himself with the quality of the works. He noted that modern treatment facilities play a key role in maintaining the ecological safety of the republic. "Since Verkhny Uslon is located on the Volga River bank, the measures taken to improve the quality of sewage will prevent pollution of the largest reservoir," the Minister of Ecology of Tatarstan said.

Today, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev got acquainted with the course of works on the shore protection of the Klyancheyka river in the village of Klyancheno, Verkhneuslon district. Work in this area was carried out in the second half of 2017 to protect people from spring floods and create a fire-fighting water supply. In addition, an earth dam was constructed to repair the road that connects two settlements, Klyancheno and Novlyanka.

Landfill from construction and industrial wastes was revealed by the inspector sof the South-Eastern Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during the helicopter flight. Automobile tires, scrap of ferrous metals, synthetic materials and old household appliances were littered with the territory of one of the Almetyevsk enterprises. According to environmentalists, the total landfill area was 4500 sq.m.

Damage to the environment estimated in 2 million RUB was caused by the communal enterprise of the Tukaevo district. The fact of wastewater discharge in Novotroitskoye village was revealed by the inspectors of the Prikamsky territorial administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Tukaevo district in April this year. During the inspection it was established that the sewage of the local enterprise flow to the terrain and enter the river Chelna. 

The application for the national award in the field of ecology and geography “Crystal Compass” was launched. Nominees can be citizens of the Russian Federation and other countries, creative unions, domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises that have implemented projects in the field of geography and ecology, preservation and promotion of natural and historical and cultural heritage in 2017.

Today, the "Open Day" was held in all territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Minister Farid Abdulganiev, chiefs and specialists of the departments answered the questions of the residents. During the online reception, the issues of organization of separate waste collection and functioning of public ecological movements were touched upon, clarifications were given on the identification and suppression of environmental offenses. People appealed to the Minister with the initiative to organize and implement a joint interregional ecological automobile journey.

Solid household waste, wood products, used tires, construction waste, old furniture formed an illegal landfill with an area of ​​more than 300 m2. Unauthorized disposal of waste was recorded by the inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. 

Two cities of Tatarstan, Naberezhnye Chelny and Kazan, became the leaders of the rating of ecological development of Russian cities in 2016. The results of the research were announced today at a press conference in the MIA "Russia Today", which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment of the Russian Federation and the All-Russian People's Front.

On November 21, 2017 in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan (Pavlyukhina str. 75) the Open Day will be held. The specialists of the Ministry of Ecology will answer questions related to the environmental protection and safety and nature management in the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The open day will take place in all territorial departments of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
