Since January 1, 2018, the norms on conducting state ecological expertise (SEE) for the design documentation of facilities related to environmental protection of the first category - large enterprises that have the greatest impact on the environment - come into force. This is reported on the official website of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation.
Currently, the Russian Government has amended the legislation, which provides for a reduction in the duration of the SEE for all facilities from 3 to 2 months, while preserving the possibility of its extension at the customer request. In addition, transitional provisions are established regarding the conduct of the SER for category I facilities. 

Today the exhibition center "Kazan Fair" opened the 8th specialized exhibition and congress "Pure water. Kazan." The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted: "Tatarstan is the most watered entity of the Volga Federal District. It takes a lot of effort to preserve the most valuable resource - water." The Minister stressed that the issues of ecology and environmental protection require a systematic approach and joint efforts. "Tatarstan was one of the first regions to join the formation of a federal project to improve the Volga. Here the pilot group worked, which formed data for the implementation of a new ambitious project."

Modern methods and forms of conducting ecological and educational work in protected areas, the formation of the image of the protected area, the preservation of cultural landscapes, interaction with the local population. These issues were discussed today at the plenary meeting of the All-Russian meeting-conference on Environmental Education in Protected Areas "Protected Areas - Common Responsibility and Care". The event was organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Volga-Kama State Nature Reserve", the environmental education center "Zapovedniki". “Pure look”. The results of the 5th Open Republican Youth Competition of Social Environmental Advertising were summed up today in Kazan. This year, the competition held by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the jubilee - the 5th in a row. More than 1300 works with an ecological topic were presented for the jury's review. The issues of protection of atmospheric air, water resources, careful attitude to forests, preservation of cleanliness around, beauty of nature of Russia and other topics related to ecology were reflected in social posters, photographs, videos and films. 

A lesson on the conservation of the snow leopard was held today in the Kazan Gymnasium No. 3. The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev, the deputy of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the chairman of the Committee for Ecology, Nature Management, Agro-Industrial and Food Policy Tahir Khadeev, the head of the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications "Tatmedia" Airat Zaripov, and Ilsur Hadiullin, Head of the Education Department of the Executive Committee of Kazan answered the questions of the students of the first ecological class of the republic.
