Five points for collecting spent batteries has started working in Kazan today. The pilot project was launched in November last year. Over 5 tons of spent batteries have been collected within two months. Now the analysis has been performed: The containers will be removed completely in places, where the collection was not active. New containers of larger volumes will appear in the busy areas of the city.  

The 19th International Specialized Exhibition "Energy.Resources saving" and the 18th International Symposium "Efficiency and energy saving» will take place from 13 to 15 of March. The organizers are: the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Construction, architecture and housing and communal services of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Transport and Road of the Republic of Tatarstan, 

Air pollution has been prevented. Industrial emissions from Chelny enterprises comply with environmental regulations. Such conclusion was made by ecologists in the course of the repeated inspection for observance of air protection requirements. Previously, the inspectors of the Kama Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan found out,

There is a tradition in our country to celebrate the Day of reserves and national parks on January 11. The first state reserve - Barguzin was founded on this day in 1917 in Russia with the purpose to preserve the population of Barguzin sable. In 1986, by UNESCO's decision this reserve received the biosphere status and was included in the international network of biosphere reserves. Today this protected place is an integral part of the World Natural Heritage Site "Lake Baikal" together with other reserves and national parks belonging to the "Reserved Necklace" (Barguzin, Baikal, Baikal-Lensky Reserves, Baikal National Park).

The 72 International Youth Scientific Conference "Oil and gas-2018" will be held in Moscow in the Russian State University of oil and gas, named after I.M. Gubkin, on April 23-26, 2018. The students of higher and secondary educational institutions, as well as young scientists and specialists of organizations of oil and gas industry of the age up to 35 years can participate in the event. 

The reception of applications for participation in the international competition of short films about water "We are water", with participants over 18 years old, has started.

The contest is held on three nominations:

- Documentary film;

- Feature film;

- Animation.

The Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan found today on the bank of the Kinderka River in amount of 400 cubic metres.  Unauthorized storage of snow was recorded by ecologists under the bridge of the motorway M7 at the intersection of the Soviet District of Kazan and Vysokogorsky District of the Republic. 

The untreated wastewaters of the branch of the OJSC "TGC-16" - "Kazan CHPP-3" entered into the Kazanka River. Excess sulfates, ion phosphates, petroleum products, phenol and other contaminants were detected by the inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan during the joint raid with representatives of the Kazan Inter-District Environmental Prosecutor's Office. The instrumental sampling of wastewaters coming from the enterprise was made. 

More than a thousand of Tatarstan volunteers will take part in  ECOspring - 2018. "This year the first large-scale republican action on cleaning and improvement of territories of cities and regions of the Republic will take place on April, 1", - informed the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev: 

The list of finished goods subject to disposal has been expanded from 36 up to 54. This has been reported on the official website of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev signed the Directions "On introduction of changes into the list of finished goods, including packing, subject to disposal after the loss of consumer properties", approved by the Direction of the RF Government No.
