Contamination of water facility is unacceptable. The snow, stockpiled illegally, will be removed in a short time.

The Inspectors of the Central Territorial Administration of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan found today on the bank of the Kinderka River in amount of 400 cubic metres.  Unauthorized storage of snow was recorded by ecologists under the bridge of the motorway M7 at the intersection of the Soviet District of Kazan and Vysokogorsky District of the Republic.

The analyses showed: The snow was taken away after clearing of street-road network, in its structure-reagents and oil products. According to the Deputy Head of the CTU Almaz Ismagilov the harmful substances can get into the water facility during melting of the contaminated snow. The administrative investigation was initiated according to Article 8.2. of the Administrative Code of Russia:

Non-compliance with environmental, sanitary, and epidemiological requirements during handling wastes of production and consumption, substances that deplete the ozone layer, or other hazardous substances. 

Persons, involved in this administrative offence, will be identified by ecologists with the help of cameras, installed on this territory and will be obliged to liquidate the landfill in the shortest possible time.
