More than a thousand of volunteers confirmed their participation in ECOspring - 2018 in Tatarstan

More than a thousand of Tatarstan volunteers will take part in  ECOspring - 2018. "This year the first large-scale republican action on cleaning and improvement of territories of cities and regions of the Republic will take place on April, 1", - informed the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Farid Abdulganiev:

"A little more than a thousand of activists have confirmed their participation as of today. Last year 1.2 million of Tatarstan ciizens took part in the events.  I think that in the year of the volunteer we will keep such high figures. For example, one of the ecological movements of Tatarstan "It will be clean" accounts for more than 8 thousand young people. These are only those who registered on the site. The computations of the previous years show that the activists of the movement accounted for more than 25 thousand people.  These are the people who lead hundreds – thousands of people of the Republic," - the Minister said. He stressed that eco-volunteering was widely developed in Tatarstan. 

The activists of "It will be clean" themselves plan to spend the Year of volunteering with a vast scale: There will be sanitary actions and actions on tree planting, ecological and educational events, collection of waste paper, bicycle rides, ecological lessons, profile shifts of tent and stationary type, ecological days in health camps. From the innovations – the Tatarstan volunteers plan to implement the project "Green mark book" for students, where all the eco-events, the creative festival of ecology movement activists, and various eco-quests will be recorded.
