A large-scale Clean Air campaign is underway in Tatarstan, aimed at reducing the level of air pollution from motor vehicles. The campaign started on June 1 in support of the national project "environmental well-being".

During the regional state environmental supervision in the territory of the Shilnebash rural settlement of the Tukayevsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan, a violation of environmental legislation in the field of waste management of production and consumption was revealed.

The Aznakaevsky City Court upheld the claims of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan for the liquidation of three unauthorized landfills on the territory of Aznakaevo.

Since January 1, the Republican Public Environmental Reception has received 3,474 applications.  3,087 (88.8%) of them have been resolved.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal through the GIS system "People's Control" upon the discovery of a garbage dump in the village of Sloboda Yekaterininskaya Novosheshminsky district.

As part of the work to improve the ecological culture of the younger generation, specialists from the Zavolzhsky Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan visited the Kolosok kindergarten in Tetyushy.

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan has repeatedly received complaints about an unauthorized landfill on the street Podluzhnaya of the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan. The Ministry's state inspectors promptly went to the site, where they confirmed the fact of illegal storage of production and consumption waste.

A press tour for journalists dedicated to the third stage of the Free Current environmental project was held in the Vysokogorsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. Representatives of the press were shown how specialists were dismantling the rubble on the Kazanka River and told about the difficulties encountered in clearing the riverbed.

As part of the supervisory activities, specialists from the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted a survey of Naberezhnye Chelny. 

As part of an air raid in the Alekseevsky district, inspectors from the Volga-Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology revealed violations of environmental legislation in Alekseevskoye village. Debris from construction and repair work littered the 500 sq.m. site, and the landfill volume was 100 cubic meters.
