7 October 2025, Tuesday

Chistopol and Yelabuga joined the marathon "In the footsteps of good deeds" in support of the Olympiad of Young Environmentalists "Clean Heritage" and the national project "Ecological Well-being".

An environmental quest among schoolchildren was held at the Kamalia Leisure and Development Center in Chistopol.

The participants passed through five stations: they got acquainted with the animal and plant world, learned how to sort waste and create crafts from recyclables, identify traces of wild animals and created their own painting using the ebru method (a special technique for drawing on water).

"The eco-quest has shown how important it is to take care of nature. We hope that the marathon will be held next year and will inspire the participants to protect our planet," the students said.

Yelabuga hosted the final stage of the marathon "In the footsteps of good Deeds" in Tatarstan. Here, the staff of the Children's Ecological and Biological Center, together with educational institutions, organized the collection of feed and medicines for the shelter of homeless animals. Together, they managed to transfer more than 100 kg of feed to our four-legged friends.

The marathon "In the footsteps of good deeds" has come a long way, covering 12 cities of Tatarstan. It demonstrated how important it is to take care of the world around us and shape the eco-culture of the younger generation. The marathon will continue its relay race in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vsevolozhsk, as well as in cities of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Let us remind you that the correspondence stage of the Clean Heritage Olympiad for Young Environmentalists, which is being held by the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and PJSC Tatneft, is coming to an end today. The full-time stage of the Olympiad will be held from October 27 to November 1 in Almetyevsk. The main objectives are to increase the interest of students of general education institutions in natural science knowledge and popularize environmental knowledge among schoolchildren.
