The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, together with the Environmental Prosecutor's Office and law enforcement agencies, intensified the fight against illegal mining in 2025. By the end of 2025, this work has brought concrete results aimed at preserving natural resources and budgetary resources.

In 2025, the Republic of Tatarstan switched to the implementation of a new national project "Environmental well-being", which replaced the national project "Ecology".

The best employees of the department were awarded at a joint expanded meeting of the final board of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Today, at the joint final board of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan Public Joint Stock Company Organic Synthesis, and the A. I. Shchepovskikh Regional Public Foundation for Environmental Protection and the Regional Branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The work on the conservation of rare animal species and the restoration of ecosystems in Tatarstan has reached a qualitatively new level, combining the efforts of government, science, business and the public. 

The Republic of Tatarstan has confirmed its status as a leader in environmental volunteerism, taking first place for the fifth time in a row in the All-Russian coastal Cleaning Campaign "Water of Russia". The results of 2025 were summed up by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Republic of Tatarstan demonstrates a sustainable model of "green growth", proving that economic development and environmental well-being are not only compatible, but also mutually reinforcing. 

Today, before the start of the joint final board of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, a large-scale exhibition was held.  The departments presented their modern achievements, innovative developments and the most significant projects.

New requirements for the development and coordination of Action Plans to reduce Emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere during periods of adverse meteorological conditions (AMC) will come into force on March 1, 2026.

Inspectors of the Priiksky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an educational eco-lesson for primary school students of the gymnasium of Aznakaevo.
