Tatarstan is one of the most active participants of the All-Russian Green Test Competition

The online stage of the All-Russian Environmental Literacy Assessment competition "Green Test" has ended. It brought together more than 72,000 schoolchildren and students from all over the country. During the month, the participants solved test and creative tasks in a remote format.

The competition was high: only 1121 contestants made it to the final of the competition, including Tatarstan guys. On February 26, they will travel to Moscow to compete for victory.

In three hours, schoolchildren and students will have to complete Olympiad tasks on various topics, including geography, ecology and tourism. The completed works will be checked by leading representatives of the scientific community.

The Green Test competition, which is held in support of the national Environmental Well-Being project, provides an opportunity not only to demonstrate their knowledge in the field of nature conservation, but also a chance to enroll in leading universities in the country - the winners will receive additional points upon admission. All participants will also be awarded prizes and certificates.

The main objectives of the competition are to popularize the topic of ecology and to develop interest in the environment and research activities among young people. In 2024, three students of the republic became the winners of the qualifying stage and advanced to the finals. In total, more than 50 thousand people took part in the competition.

I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology, ANO "University of the National Technological Initiative 2035", Sergo Ordzhonikidze Russian State Geological Exploration University and ANO "Dialog Regions".
