Orange-burgundy chemicals discharged to soil were found today in Zalesny village of Kazan by specialists of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The notification was received through the “People’s control” system. According to the residents, the chemicals were discharged at about 8 am from overfilled hatches located nearby. The inspectors of theCentral Territorial Administration, together with specialists of CSIAC(Central Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control) conducted a sanitary-ecological survey of the territory. The contaminated area is 62 sq.m, depth - 8 cm. The experts performed instrumentalwastewater sampling, contaminated and referencesoils. Environmentalists will determine the substance and its harm to the environment.
