The impact of human activities on nature, pollution of water bodies, formation of garbage dumps – these and other issues on the Day of Environmental Knowledge were discussed in the secondary general Tatar-Russian school No. 48 of Privolzhsky district of Kazan. The lesson about nature was conducted by Yulia Saferova, the leading specialist of the department of environmental education and interaction with public organizations of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with representatives of the youth organization Young Guard of the party United Russia. On the lesson, the students were told about the main components of the environment and wise attitude to natural resources, then the students underwent an ecological test consisting of questions of varying degrees of complexity. “In the issues of the younger generation education, the formation of an ecological outlook plays a key role,” Yulia Saferova noted. “The campaign #ECOspring2017, the contest “School Ecopatrol”, and many other projects of the Ministry of Ecology provide an excellent opportunity for schoolchildren to show their civic position and contribute to the preservation of the environment”.
