Today, the first stage of a large-scale pilot project for the reconstruction of forest plantations along the Kazanka River has started in the Urnyak rural settlement of the Arsky district. More than 50 people took part in the environmental campaign, which planted 8000 oak and spruce saplings.

Today, Tatar-inform News Agency hosted a press conference dedicated to environmental projects implemented by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan in cooperation with the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society and SIBUR. The event was attended by Olga Manidicheva, Deputy Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, and Alexander Zhalyuk, Head of Ecology at Kazanorgsintez, Dmitry Shiller, Chairman of the regional branch of the Russian Geographical Society in the Republic of Tatarstan, and Ildar Enaleev, President of the Russian Falcon Union.

During the survey of the Tukayevsky and Yelabuga districts, inspectors from the Kama Department of the Ministry of Ecology revealed restrictions on residents' free access to water. According to the Water Code of the Russian Federation, the coastal strip is intended for general use and access to it must be free.
